Artist's Description
Packera aurea (formerly Senecio aureus), commonly known as golden ragwort or simply ragwort, is a perennial flower in the family Asteraceae. It is also known as life root, squaw weed, golden Senecio, ragwort, uncum root, waw weed, uncum, false valerian, cough weed, female regulator, cocash weed, ragweed, staggerwort, and St. James wort.

About Mary Carol Story
“It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” Henry David Thoreau This, for me, is the definition of photography. I love capturing what “I see” through the lens of a camera. There is nothing more exciting than the continued quest for beautiful, awe-inspiring subject matter and the opportunity to share it with others. I invite you to enjoy my...
